My best-selling piece to date, Reaching for Understanding has become a beloved piece for many.

Those who see this piece often describe what seems to be a common experience of, not only reaching for an understanding of the universe, but also earthy understanding.  

In the creation of the piece, I incorporated the binding from an encyclopedia. This is significant because it comes from a set of Britannicas gifted to me by my late father when I was born. Though the internet would soon take over, he imagined this gift contributing to my knowledge and success. In a twist of fate, they now play a different role, becoming part of the art itself, enriching my work with a personal legacy.

In Reaching for Understanding, a hand extends toward a dripping moon, an emblem of hope and ambition. It’s a nod to the idea of "reaching for the moon," though here, the moon drips like a mirage, slipping away as one tries to grasp it. The hand reaches from the cosmos, framed by a border of stars, because the truth is that your fingertips are on the heartbeat of the universe, your body is made of stars, and your mind is of cosmic intelligence.
