As I child, I loved and found peace and comfort in fantastical stories such as Alice in Wonderland. Maybe that is why there is a touch of whimsey in much of my work. 
This piece was made with a sense of looseness, in a dreamy state. I wanted to create a whimsical yet serene world in which you can loose yourself for a time. 
This is where I go in meditations, and often where I imagine myself when going to sleep.
